Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the spare tire from the spare tire carrier.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  3. Remove hoist assembly mounting nuts.
  4. Remove hoist assembly mounting bolts from the frame.

  5. Remove hoist assembly mounting bolts from the rear crossmember.
  6. Remove hoist assembly from the vehicle.
