Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hoist assembly to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install hoist assembly mounting bolts to the rear crossmember.
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the hoist assembly mounting bolts to the rear crossmember to 11 N.m (100 lb in).

  3. Install hoist assembly mounting bolts to the frame.
  4. Install hoist assembly mounting nuts.
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the hoist assembly mounting nuts to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the spare tire to the spare tire carrier.
