Removal Procedure

Remove the upper control arm from the vehicle. Refer to UPPER CONTROL ARM REPLACEMENT (RWD) or UPPER CONTROL ARM REPLACEMENT (4WD) .
Install the upper control arm in a vise.
Remove the washers and the nuts from upper control arm shaft.

Remove the upper control arm bushings. Use the J 22269-01 and J 21474-5 .

Remove the upper control arm shaft from the upper control arm.
