Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE  .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  3. Remove the negative battery cable bolt from the frame.

  4. Remove the negative battery cable bolt from the radiator support.

  5. Remove the negative cable harness bolt from the engine.

  6. Remove the negative battery cable nut from the block.
  7. Remove the negative battery cable.
