Installation Procedure

  1. Install the coolant recovery reservoir.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the reservoir retaining nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 8-11 N.m (6-8 lb ft).

  3. Install the hose to the coolant recovery reservoir.
  4. Using the J 38185  reposition the hose clamp.
  5. Install the PCM. Refer to POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE in Removal and Installation in Engine Performance.
  6. Add coolant to reservoir. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM  .
