Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement   .
  2. Remove the oil pump bolt.

  3. Remove the oil pump.

  4. Inspect the pins (oil pump locator) for damage, and replace the pins if required.
  5. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Oil Pump Cleaning and Inspection   .
