Installation Procedure

Important: Position the left side first, then the right side.

Position the impact bar to the body using the alignment pin for location.

Install the impact bar bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the impact bar bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the energy absorber. Refer to ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT - REAR (AZTEK) or ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT - REAR (RENDEZVOUS) .
Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (AZTEK) or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
