Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the bulbs to the tail lamp, backup lamp and/or side marker lamp sockets.
Install the tail lamp and/or backup lamp sockets to the tail lamp, rotating clockwise until the locking tab is fully seated.
Install the side marker lamp socket to the tail lamp, rotating clockwise until fully seated.
Connect the electrical connector to the tail lamp wiring harness.

Position the tail lamp ball stud retainers to the rear body panel.
Press the tail lamp to the rear body panel until fully seated.

Install the tail lamp screws to the tail lamp.
Tighten

Tighten the tail lamp screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Close the liftgate.
