Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT -- FRONT .
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (AZTEK) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (RENDEZVOUS) .
  3. Reposition the carpet in order to gain access to the access hole in the front door hinge pillar.
  4. Disconnect the front sunroof drain hose from the sunroof module front spigot.
  5. Tie a string to the module end of the front sunroof drain hose.
  6. Remove the front sunroof drain hose from the windshield pillar. Pull the hose from the front hinge pillar, allowing the string to remain in the pillar.
