Shift Cable Bracket: Installation

Install the shift cable bracket to the vehicle. Install the shift cable bracket bolts (1). See Fig 1. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the shift cable to the bracket (2) and the lever. Lower the vehicle. Check the vehicle for proper operation. If adjustment of the cable is necessary, see SHIFT CABLE BRACKET under ADJUSTMENTS.
