Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - END GATE  .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the liftgate latch.
  4. Remove the bolts from the liftgate latch.
  5. Remove the liftgate latch from the liftgate.
