Removal Procedure

Open the endgate.
Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - END GATE .
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the liftgate latches.

Remove the bolts from the liftgate latches.

Remove the liftgate latches from the endgate.
