Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the endgate plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - END GATE  .
  2. Remove the rear seat belt. Refer to SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  3. Remove the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (AZTEK)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (RENDEZVOUS)  .
  4. Remove the bolts from the rear quarter lower trim panel at the cargo tie down locations.

  5. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel from the inner panel by pulling the panel to release the push-in retainers.
  6. Remove the lower trim panel from the vehicle.
