Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Place the rear seat back to the rear seat cushion frame.

  2. Install the bolts to the seat back recliner hinges.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the outer trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION OUTER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT (BUCKET)  or SEAT CUSHION OUTER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT (SPLIT BENCH)  .
  4. Install the inner trim panel to the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION INNER PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR  .
  5. Inspect the seat back for proper operation.
  6. Install the rear bucket seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR BUCKET  .
