Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position before you remove the instrument panel cluster.

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to TRIM PLATE BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER (AZTEK)  or TRIM PLATE BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER (RENDEZVOUS)  .
  2. Remove the screws from the I/P cluster.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the I/P cluster.
  4. Remove the I/P cluster.
