Fluid Filler Tube (4T65-E): Installation

Install the fluid filler tube seal in the transaxle. Apply a small amount of DEXRON-III(R) ATF or equivalent to the inside diameter of the seal. Lower the vehicle. Position the fluid filler tube. Install the fluid filler tube bracket bolt through the fluid filler tube bracket. Tighten the fluid filler tube bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the indicator. Fill transaxle with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION . Inspect for fluid leaks.
