Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the automatic transaxle range selector lever to the automatic transaxle.
  2. Install the automatic transaxle range selector lever retaining nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the automatic transaxle range selector lever retaining nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Install the automatic transaxle range selector lever cable to the automatic transaxle range selector lever.
  4. Adjust the automatic transaxle range selector lever cable if necessary. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION RANGE SELECTOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT  .
  5. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
