Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the oil level indicator tube.
  2. Apply GM sealant P/N 12345739 or equivalent around the oil level indicator tube 12.7 mm (0.50 in) below the bead.
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube and bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft.)

  4. Install the oil level indicator.
