Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

    With the ignition ON and the engine OFF, the BARO sensor and the boost sensor should indicate the current barometric pressure. A significant difference between the readings indicates an electrical fault.
  2. 5

    This step tests the wastegate actuator diaphragm for a leak.
  3. 6

    This step tests the wastegate actuator, the linkage, and the wastegate for proper operation.
