Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the outlet heater hose.
  2. Connect the outlet heater hose to the heater core.
  3. Connect the heater hose clamp using the J 38185  .

  4. Connect the outlet heater hose (3) to the outlet heater pipe (4).
  5. Install the transmission fluid filler tube. Refer to FLUID FILLER TUBE REPLACEMENT .
  6. Connect the throttle and cruise control cables to the TBI mounting bracket.
  7. Install the air cleaner cover and intake tube.
  8. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster.
  9. Install the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to WIPER MOTOR MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  10. Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
