Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the floor air door into the HVAC module.

    Important:  Align the floor air door lever slot with the pin on the mode door main lever.

  2. Install the floor air door lever into the floor air door.

  3. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket.
  4. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 0.9 N.m (8 lb in).

  5. Install the mode actuator. Refer to MODE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT or MODE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT .
  6. Install the heater outlet duct. Refer to AIR OUTLET REPLACEMENT - FLOOR  .
