Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the blower motor resistor assembly to the HVAC module assembly.
  2. Install the rearward blower resistor assembly mounting screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten all of the screws to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor assembly.
  4. Install the blower motor to the HVAC module assembly.
  5. Install the blower motor mounting screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in).

  6. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
  7. Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- RIGHT .
