Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a stationary window into the opening. Refer to URETHANE ADHESIVE INSTALLATION OF STATIONARY WINDOWS  .
  2. Connect the antenna lead located on the rear quarter window, if equipped.
  3. Connect the OnStar(tm) Connector located on the rear quarter window, if equipped.
  4. Install the upper quarter trim. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- REAR QUARTER UPPER (AZTEK) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- REAR QUARTER UPPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
  5. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  6. Check the radio and the On-Star(tm) system if equipped to verify reception.
  7. Close the liftgate window.
