Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the power window switch. Refer to POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR (AZTEK)  or POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR (RENDEZVOUS)  .
  2. Remove the power door lock switch (if equipped). Refer to POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH REPLACEMENT (AZTEK)  or POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH REPLACEMENT (RENDEZVOUS)  .
  3. Remove the screws from the rear door trim panel.

  4. Remove the rear door trim panel using J 38778. 
  5. Disconnect and reroute any electrical harness or connectors.
  6. Remove the rear door trim panel from the vehicle.
