Heat Shield: Installation

  1. Install the side heat shield (3) to the transmission. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install the bolt (4) and the nut (5) to the side heat shield (3). See Fig 1 .
  3. Tighten the bolt (4) and the nut (5) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install the front heat shield (1) to the transmission. Install the bolts (2) to the front heat shield (1). See Fig 1 . Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Lower the vehicle.
