Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT -- ENGINE .
  3. Remove the cooler pipe low pressure line from the power steering gear.
  4. Remove the low pressure hose from the cooler pipe.
  5. Remove the cooler pipe retaining screws and brackets.
  6. Remove the cooler pipe.
