Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the air deflector to the housing.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the air deflector assembly to the I/P.
  5. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT
  6. Install the I/P bezel. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
