Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the blower motor resistor (1) to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining screws to the blower motor resistor.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor.
  4. Install the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (SUBURBAN) in Interior Trim.
