Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the fan cage to the blower motor (1).
  2. Install the retaining clip to the fan cage.
  3. Install the blower motor (1) to the auxiliary HVAC module (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the blower motor screws.

    Tighten: 

    Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connectors.
  6. Install the right rear quarter trim. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (SUBURBAN) in Interior Trim.
