Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the buckle assembly to the rear seat.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nut that retains the buckle assembly to the floor stud.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the nut to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).
  3. Install the two bolts that retain the buckle assembly to the back of the seat frame.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the bolts to 3 N.m (26 lb in).
  4. Fold the rear seat to the closed position.
