Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat back frame.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts (1) and retain the seat back frame to the hinge assembly.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).
  3. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT - 60/40 SPLIT)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (BENCH)  .
