Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (60/40 SPLIT)  or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (BUCKET)  , SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (BUCKET)  or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 2 - 50-50  .
  2. Remove the armrest, if equipped. Refer to ARMREST REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT (BUCKET)  or ARMREST REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT (60/40 SPLIT)  .

  3. Partially remove the seat-back cover in order to gain access to the retaining bolts. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT - 60/40 SPLIT)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (BENCH)  .
  4. Remove the bolts from the seat-back frame.
  5. Remove the seat-back frame (4) from the seat back cushion frame.
