Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT - 60/40 SPLIT)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (BENCH)  .
  2. Unclip the cable end (1) off of the seat back latch.
  3. Remove the cable from the seat back latch.
    1. 3.1. Squeeze the cable retainer tabs (2) together.
    2. 3.2. Pull the cable from the seat back latch.

  4. Unclip the cable end (1) from the head restraint release mechanism.
  5. Remove the cable from the head restraint release mechanism.
    1. 5.1. Squeeze the cable retainer tabs (2) together.
    2. 5.2. Pull the cable from the head restraint release mechanism.
