Installation Procedure

  1. Push the cable into the hole in the head restraint release mechanism.
  2. Ensure the retainer tabs fully extend to secure the cable to the head restraint mechanism.
  3. Clip the cable end onto the head restraint mechanism.

  4. Push the cable end into the hole in the seat back latch.
  5. Ensure the retainer tabs fully extend to secure the cable to the seat back latch.
  6. Clip the cable end onto the seat back latch.
  7. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT - 60/40 SPLIT)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR (BENCH)  .
