Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the cross car wiring harness.

  4. Remove the conduit.
  5. Remove the upper trim panel extension. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER EXTENSION  .
  6. Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR  .
  7. Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  8. Disconnect the following components:

    • The outside power mirror (1)
    • C203 (4)
    • P500 (5)
    • The speaker (6)
    • The power window motor (7)
    • The power lock switch (8)
    • The power window switch (9)
    • The power mirror switch (10)
    • The door lock actuator
  9. Remove the door wiring harness from the door by pulling the harness through the conduit (3).
