Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts (1) to the radiator brace.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the push pins (2) to the radiator brace.
  4. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINE QUICK CONNECT FITTING  .
  5. Install the grille assembly. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CADILLAC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (AVALANCHE) in Exterior Trim.
