Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Sonoma and 2002 Chevrolet S10 Pickup. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor indicates the CMP so the PCM can determine which cylinder is misfiring when a misfire is present. CMP is located on right side of engine block. With engine running, CMP activity counter will increment.
