Removal Procedure

Remove upper trim panel. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
Pry gently with a thin-bladed tool in order to release the clips.

Slide the trim panel upward to disengage mounting hooks.
Remove the trim panel from the liftgate.
