Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  2. Remove the liftgate window latch assembly. Refer to LATCH REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  3. Depress the locking pin on the lock cylinder.
  4. Turn lock cylinder counterclockwise.
  5. Remove the liftgate lock cylinder from the latch assembly.
