Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the end gate.
  2. Remove the rear compartment cover assembly.
  3. Remove the assist handle. Refer to ASSIST HANDLE REPLACEMENT - END GATE (AVALANCHE)  .
  4. Remove the cargo box bridge side inner panel. Refer to PANEL REPLACEMENT - CARGO BOX BRIDGE SIDE INNER (AVALANCHE/EXT) .
  5. Remove the bolts (2) from inside the cargo box stowage lid assembly.

  7. Remove the bolts (1) from the top of the stowage lid.
  8. Remove the cargo box from the vehicle.
