Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel, as necessary. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  2. Pull back the water deflector, as necessary. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT  .
  3. Disconnect the lower latch cable from the handle.
  4. Remove the latch control handle screws.
  5. Remove the latch control handle.
  6. Disconnect the upper latch cable from the handle.
