Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear seat. Refer to the following procedures in SEAT SYSTEM
:
- SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (60/40 SPLIT) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (BUCKET)
- SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 2
- SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 2 - 50-50
- Remove the rear door sill trim plates. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Remove the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
- Remove the trim panels for the rear quarter. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (SUBURBAN) and to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - LEFT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - LEFT (SUBURBAN) .
- Remove the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
- Remove the cargo tie down hooks.
- Remove the rear carpet from the vehicle.
