Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
In order to avoid personal Injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
- Install the carpet to the vehicle.
- Install the third pillar trim. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (TAHOE/YUKON/ESCALADE/SUBURBAN) or TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (AVALANCHE/ESCALADE EXT) .
- Raise the midgate.
- Install the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - CENTER PILLAR .
- Install the hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR .
- Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT and DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - REAR .
- Install the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor.
- Install the floor center console, if equipped. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (WITH CONSOLE MOUNTING BRACKET) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (W/O CONSOLE MOUNTING BRACKET) in INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE
- Install the front center seats, if equipped. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - CENTER in SEAT SYSTEM
- Install the rear seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (60/40 SPLIT) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (BUCKET) in SEAT SYSTEM
- Install the front seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET in SEAT SYSTEM
