Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install arc tube into the headlamp housing.
  2. Press down on retaining clip (2) to lock arc tube in place and reconnect electrical connector (1).

  3. Install the arc tube cover to the headlamp housing.
  4. Install the headlamp to the vehicle. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (EXCEPT AVALANCHE)  or HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (AVALANCHE)  or HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (CADILLAC)  or HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (HID)  .
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Engine Electrical.
