Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM  .
  2. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator. Refer to RADIATOR HOSE QUICK CONNECT FITTING  .

  3. Reposition the surge tank outlet hose clamp from the surge tank.
  4. Remove the surge tank outlet hose (2) from the surge tank.

  5. Reposition the outlet hose clamp from the water pump.
  6. Remove the outlet hose from the water pump.
