Transmission Control Module: Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the TCM. See Fig 3.
  2. Install the TCM to the cover.
  3. Using the alignment tabs (1), place the cover and module assembly to the radiator shroud. See Fig 2.
  4. Install the bolts (1) that secure the TCM and cover assembly into the radiator shroud. Tighten the bolts to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m). See Fig 1.
  5. Connect the battery.
  6. Reprogram the TCM.
