Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect all of the electrical connectors (1, 2, 3).

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts connecting the lower trim panel to the I/P assembly.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the center console, if equipped. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (WITH CONSOLE MOUNTING BRACKET)  or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT (W/O CONSOLE MOUNTING BRACKET)  .
  4. Install the I/P cluster trim bezel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) REPLACEMENT  .
