Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER  .
  2. Remove the upper bezel by inserting a flat bladed tool between the console and bezel.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2).
  4. Remove the storage bin. Refer to CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (EXPECT PRO)  .

  5. Insert a flat bladed tool between the console and bezel in order to pry it out.
  6. Remove the bezel from the console.
