Installation Procedure

  1. Install the high mounted stop lamp to the cargo box bridge center. Refer to HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (UTILITIES) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (ESCALADE EXT) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (AVALANCHE) .
  2. Fig 1: Panel Assembly Screws

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the panel assembly to the vehicle.
  5. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the panel assembly screws (1,2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the panel assembly screws (1,2) to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  7. Inspect the operation.
  8. Install the rear compartment cover assembly.
