Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: When this molding is removed, all retaining clips need to be replaced with new clips if the molding is to be reused.
  1. Grasp the lower part of the molding.
  2. Pull outwards in order to release the retainers from the body panel.
  3. IMPORTANT: Do not scratch or chip the paint.
  4. Remove all adhesive from the fender and the back of the molding using a 3M™ Scotch Brite molding adhesive remover disc, 3M P/N 07501 or equivalent.
  5. Clean the body panel using Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha.
